    Job Title: Seasonal Individual Income Tax Preparer

    Job Type: Temporary (January 27, 2025 - April 15, 2025)

    Location: On-site initially, with potential for remote work after thorough training.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a seasonal tax preparer to assist with individual tax return preparation.. This is an ideal role for someone who is either experienced in individual income tax preparation or eager to learn. Training will be provided during the last week of January to ensure you are ready to start preparing returns by February 10, 2025.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare individual income tax returns accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensure all tax documentation is gathered, organized, and submitted correctly.
    • Adhere to Firm policies and procedures.
    • Work efficiently in a paperless environment.
    • Collaborate with team members in a learning environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in individual income tax preparation is preferred, but not required.
    • Willingness to work in-person during the training period and through the majority of the initial busy tax season.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with tax software is a plus, but training will be provided.

    Training and Work Schedule:

    • Training: Last week of January 2025.
    • Work Period: February 10, 2025 - April 15, 2025.
    • Must be available to work at least 30 hours per week during tax season.

    Potential for Remote Work: While in-person work is expected during training and the early phase of the position, there may be an opportunity for fully remote work once you have demonstrated proficiency and independence in your tasks.
