WHAT: The Junior League of Montgomery (JLM) will host the 38th Annual College + Career Fair. For 38 years, the Junior League of Montgomery has hosted the largest college and career fair in the River Region. With over 90 expected college and career representatives, the fair allows a wide range of exposure of college and career representatives to high school juniors and seniors across the region.
This year, with a theme of “Dare to Dream,” the Junior League of Montgomery is excited to announce a unique partnership with Montgomery Public Schools allowing exclusive access to all of MPS’ high school juniors and seniors from 10 AM to 2 PM. The College + Career Fair will open to all students from 3 PM to 7 PM. Some of the expected participants are the University of Alabama, Auburn University, Alabama State University, Montgomery Fire/Rescue, Tuskegee University, and Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Factor.

For 38 years, the Junior League of Montgomery has committed to providing resources to high school students to invest in their futures. For the first time, we’ve partnered with Montgomery Public Schools to offer exclusive access to all high school junior and seniors of Montgomery Public Schools. In addition to access to the fair, attendees will have access to 2023-2024 Scholarship and Financial Aid Guide,” published by the Junior League of Montgomery and a free financial aid seminar hosted by Auburn University at Montgomery. Thanks to the gracious contributions of our sponsors, students will have an opportunity to register to win $2,000 in scholarships.
WHY: The Junior League of Montgomery is an organization committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. For the past 98 years, JLM has contributed more than $4.5 Million to its community partners. The Montgomery league is composed of nearly 600 members who donate approximately 20,000 hours of volunteer services annually. The dramatic success of the league's annual fundraisers has made possible a financial commitment to the Montgomery area that has totaled well over a million dollars in the last ten years alone. Proceeds raised by the Junior League of Montgomery support their work in the community through projects that improve the quality of life for families and children.
