MONTGOMERY- In response to the latest federal and state guidelines on slowing the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the City of Montgomery closed access to municipal facilities. Out of an abundance of caution for our patrons and staff, and in an effort to help limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), ALL Montgomery City-County Public Library locations are CLOSED until further notice.
All programs, services, outreach activities, and meeting room reservations have been cancelled. No one will be allowed in the buildings except staff. As an alternative for checkouts, the library is offering curbside service for books, books on CDs, music CDs, and DVDs; however, we do encourage everyone to utilize our on line resources. Internet is available via the HOTSPOT surrounding all ten library locations.
New temporary card numbers and PINs can be issued over the phone so citizens can access our on line services. Once we are reopened profiles can be updated and information verified in person.
Visit the library's website to access e-books, magazines, databases and other on line resources at www.mccpl.lib.al.us. Patrons can also call any of the ten locations with questions and concerns or Library Administration at 334-625-4300.
