NEW LEAD AT TRIUMPH
Triumph Services announced Barbara von Gal as Services Coordinator in Montgomery. Triumph, a nationally recognized non-profit headquartered in Birmingham provides community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities, like autism, who are trying to live independently. Von Gal is an Auburn graduate with a bachelor’s of science degree in special education and a minor in psychology. She brings extensive experience in education and in adult services.
HIRELEVEL TEAM MEMBERS CERTIFIED
Furthering its employees’ education continues to be a priority for WBE certified HireLevel powered by Extra Help, one of the region’s largest women-owned employment, payroll and workforce services companies. It’s why three members of the HireLevel team received their Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) certification from the American Staffing Association (ASA) this past summer. Tiffany Tolle, CSP joined the HireLevel team in 2015. She works with its strategic accounts to ensure success with bulk hiring for peak seasons. Stephanie Stinson, CSP joined the HireLevel team in 2016. She works as part of its staffing development team, and her responsibilities including helping manage relationships with clients and applicants. Ashley Gregory, CSP joined the HireLevel team in 2014. She is an active member of its Centralized Recruiting Center (CRC) and helps to support all nine HireLevel locations.
GMC MONTGOMERY EMPLOYEES ATTAIN PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE
Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood (GMC) recently announced that Cameron Weldy, Susan McGallagher and Matt Thomason have attained professional licensure in their respective fields. Architects Weldy and McGallagher achieved National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certification upon completing all of the requirements to become a registered architect. Airport planner Matt Thomason attained his professional engineering license upon passing the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam.
NEW RUSSELL CONSTRUCTION TEAM MEMBERS
Russell Construction of Alabama, Inc. named Samuel David Sutton, Jr. to be Vice President of Operations in August. Sutton started in construction at 21 years old as a superintendent and has been in project management for 15 years. The company also recently announced the hire of Josie Russell as Sales and Marketing Manager. She graduated from Troy University in May 2017.
RIVER REGION UNITED WAY WELCOMES VP OF RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
River Region United Way announced that Brenda Robertson Dennis will join its team as the new Vice President of Resource Development. Dennis will direct the efforts of the annual fundraising campaign, including The Tocqueville Society, and will expand United Way’s reach throughout the River Region with an emphasis on establishing new employee campaigns. Dennis worked as director of development for the Alabama Dance Theater for the past 15 years.
