HISTORY: CB&S Bank was incorporated as Citizens Bank on February 28, 1906 and opened for business on March 3, 1906. The bank was started with $25,000 in capital and a vision to provide extraordinary service to the people of the region, staking our own growth on the growth of the region. Also in 2021, Chairman Emeritus and CB&S Bank Director Cecil Batchelor was posthumously inducted into the Alabama Business Hall of Fame, and the Alabama Legislature passed Alabama-2021-HR8 honoring his life, legacy and professional achievements.
