Montgomery Chamber calling for Point of Light Award nominations
Award honors outstanding minority and female-owned businesses
The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce is calling for nominations for its Point of Light Award. The deadline to submit nominations is 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20.
The Point of Light Award honors outstanding minority or female-owned businesses for their achievements and contributions to the community. Two awards will be presented at the Montgomery Chamber 145th Annual Meeting on Thursday, Dec. 7. One award will be given to a business that has been operational for one to nine years, and another will be presented to a business that has been in operation for 10 or more years.
Any minority or female-owned, for-profit company in the River Region that has been in business for at least one year and is a member in good standing of the Montgomery Chamber is eligible to be nominated. Businesses are encouraged to self-nominate.
