Military Appreciation Day at the Zoo is June 16
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Military Appreciation Day at the Montgomery Zoo Thursday, June 16. All active-duty and retired military personnel and their families will be admitted free with a valid military ID.
Military families will enjoy free admission to the Montgomery Zoo and the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum as well as free train rides. Lunch, beverages and refreshments will also be provided.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Montgomery Zoo, 2301 Coliseum Parkway. Lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. until 2 p.m.
