Montgomery, Alabama’s Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB) has been selected by the United States Air Force to receive $18 million for the construction of a new air traffic control tower (ATCT) facility for the purpose of force protection and safety. The construction is expected to begin June 2019 and conclude December 2020.
