Boots to Business Course

This Boots to Business Course is intended for Servicemembers and spouses located or stationed in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi .

Boots to Business Reboot (B2BR) is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The course provides an overview of entrepreneurship and applicable business ownership fundamentals. Active Duty Service members (including National Guard and Reserve), Veterans of all eras, and military spouses are eligible to participate. The “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” course is the foundational piece of Boots to Business (B2B). Participants are introduced to the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to launch a business, including steps for developing business concepts, how to develop a business plan, and information on SBA resources available to help. This two-day (1/2 day 0830 -1230 CT each day) live online program is facilitated by subject matter experts from the SBA and their extensive network of skilled business advisors.

We will use the Zoom platform for “Live” online delivery. The VBOC at MSU team is well versed in Zoom and security protocol.  Secure link will be forwarded to registrants prior to class.

The Online Boots to Business / Reboot is open to Active Duty Service members (including National Guard and Reserve), Veterans of all eras and of course military spouses. 

For TAP / TSM managers that have servicemembers in need of Entrepreneurship Track this “live” online course will meet that requirement. All attendees will register thru SBA VETS portal and attendance will be collected.

Day1 0830-1230 CT Modules 1-4

Day 2 0830-1230 CT Modules 5-8

We will start each day at 0830 and finish formal presentations by 1230; instructors will stay online afterwards
