Community Conversation

The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is hosting listening sessions to hear about health improvements in your community. The Community Conversations, held around cities across the state, will help inform ADPH where to prioritize health improvements on the county and local levels.
Previously in 2019, the survey was used to identify 14 top health concerns for Alabama. From this information, we have created mobile clinics to address access to care and continue funding local-level health initiatives. 

The event is welcome to all, although we will be spending the first 15 minutes dedicated to a specific topic, such as emergency response, perinatal health, chronic diseases, and access to care.
