The Gathering of Eagles Foundation (GOEF) sponsors Pub Crawls and other events to raise money for a host of programs.
The Gathering of Eagles (GOE) program is an Airpower historical society and educational service organization run by several faculty members and a select number of students attending the Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) at Maxwell AFB in Alabama.
Each year, GOE hosts several distinguished current and former military members and civilians, referred to as Eagles, who have significantly contributed to the fields of aviation, space, or cyberspace. These Eagles come to Air University in the Spring to share stories about their contributions with the Air University students.
A group of 18 ACSC students participate in the year-long program that involves historical research and community service. The GOE program has been a culminating event for ACSC since 1980. The Gathering of Eagles week is the CAPSTONE event for all graduates of Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) located at Maxwell AFB, AL.
The GOE program is supported by a private organization, the Gathering of Eagles Foundation GOEF, which funds the operational costs as well as scholarships for local Montgomery schoolchildren and supplements community outreach programs such as Starbase Maxwell and Civil Air Patrol.
