Is Your Business CMMC Compliant?

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is the Department of Defense’s (DoD) newest verification mechanism designed to ensure the information systems of all contractors AND SUBCONTRACTORS who do business with the government are secure from cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Beginning in 2021, DoD is moving away from a “self-attesting” regulation to required certifications of CMMC Levels 1-5.  Contractors and subcontractors will not only be required to have this certification, a company’s compliance will be independently audited and verified that is following best practices set forth by NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology). 

During this session, participants will the steps for compliance including:

• How to self-assess and identify the state of their current cybersecurity controls.
• How and where to acquire professional IT assistance to validate the controls that a company already has and develop a plan to eliminate the gaps in their current systems.
• How to secure CMMC accredited assistance to properly complete a CMMC audit and gain certification to be able to continue to bid on and secure government contracts.
• How to develop and implement a plan for continued investments in Cybersecurity controls, documentation and policies current for future audits.
