Corporate Fraud Prevention – Fraud and CyberCrime Awareness for Businesses

Karen L. Rath, CTP, Vice President TD Bank
Join us as Karen highlights some key areas of vulnerability for business – from a cybercrime perspective as well as when it comes to payment fraud. Best practices, including email and social media accounts, bank account monitoring, and bank products to prevent payment fraud, are discussed.
Karen has an extensive history of providing financial services with three decades of financial experience ranging from banking, trust, brokerage, and investments. Her banking experience includes taxable and tax-exempt lending and treasury management solutions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable best practices. Karen has commercial real estate experience working with clients who are franchises, higher ed, and nonprofits. Karen's previous experience includes being a V.P. project manager at PNC in Treasury Management and Private Bank banking products and AVP at Federated Investors. Karen has her Certified Treasury Professional (CTP ® ) Certification.
Regarding community, Karen is a Board member of the Volusia County Industrial Development Authority and a member of the Pt Orange-South Daytona Rotary. Karen has also served on the Economic Development Committee for the Southeast Volusia Chamber Southeast Volusia Manufacturing & Technology Coalition. Before residing in Florida, Karen served as treasurer for a social service organization and advisory board for a university's land grant services. She has served on the planning committees for the Nonprofit Summits and the 2013 Wishart election Committee and delivered the keynote speech at the 2013 Regional Chamber Nonprofit Conference.
