Intro to Puppetry Workshop at The Cloverdale Playhouse

The Cloverdale Playhouse is offering a one day Puppetry Workshop this Saturday, August 31, from 9 AM - 1 PM.
Participants in the Cloverdale Playhouse's Intro to Puppetry Workshop will gain an understanding of different forms of puppetry and their uses on stage and screen, as well as a hands-on class in basic puppetry techniques for hand and rod and tabletop puppetry from our own Professional Puppeteer, J. Scott Grinstead
Participants should dress in comfortable clothes that allow for lots of movement. Some light snacks will be provided, but students may bring their own food. All students should bring a water bottle.

*This class is appropriate for ages 13 and up.

The cost to attend the class is $40. The Playhouse does have scholarship funding available upon request for children to attend the workshop at no cost thanks to grant funding from the Central Alabama Community Foundation.
