Live Call-In Opportunity Links Experts and Area Small Businesses Facing COVID-19 Impacts
The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce has curated a wide variety of local experts to advise small and medium sized business owners in the Montgomery area on COVID-19 recovery related issues during a live, one-on-one call-in event this Thursday from 3- 6 p.m.

Expert volunteer call handlers can provide information on a range of topics including small business loan programs, tax questions, human resources and unemployment questions, workplace safety issues, and more. The volunteers represent companies such as Alabama Power Company, Alabama State University SBDC, Balch Bingham, Ball Ball Mathews & Novak, BBVA, Cadence Bank, Carr Riggs & Ingram, Jackson Thornton, PowerSouth, Regions Bank, River Bank & Trust, and UA SafeState, with more expected to join.
“In times of unprecedented challenge and uncertainty, the ability to speak one-on-one with an expert can not only bring clarity to the chaos of running a business during a crisis, it offers the connection we all need to know that we can recover from this together,” says Montgomery Chamber President & CEO Anna Buckalew. “By connecting people to people, and people to resources, we aim to help our small businesses find opportunities to not only survive but thrive during this time, and to energize the community for a bright future.”
