TechMGM Forum & DBA Tech Town Hall

The Chamber is proud to partner with the DBA and MGMWERX, and will hold its Spring TechMGM Forum in conjunction with a Downtown Business Association (DBA) Tech Town Hall.

Join community and business leaders for a discussion on how Montgomery is embracing its tech talent, public-private projects focused on IT/Communications infrastructure, and its strong culture of innovation to fuel its emergence as a Smart Community and a key destination for new investment, tourism, and fulfillment.

Panelists will discuss how technology can be used to propel business, tourism, and investment in our community, and will give examples of businesses and individuals who are already doing this in Montgomery!

About TechMGM 
TechMGM is a collaboration of local industry, educational and government entities working together to connect and leverage Montgomery’s unique technology related assets. This initiative will maximize the community’s diverse technology talent pipeline and promote the city as an emerging and innovative technology hub to enhance the workforce and grow the regional economy.

About DBA
Montgomery’s Downtown Business Association (DBA) works to promote and encourage the creation and expansion of businesses and professional organizations in the downtown Montgomery area. DBA was organized and incorporated in 2010. DBA has a steadily expanding membership of downtown businesses and professional organizations.

About MGMWERX
MGMWERX was created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement between DEFENSEWERX and the Air Force Research Laboratory to align with the education initiatives of Air University. MGMWERX augments ongoing Air University programs to enhance production of high-quality, innovative research and ideas that span issues of importance to the Air Force.
