Event Description:

Join us Feb. 28, 2022, in Montgomery, as we honor two new Alabama Humanities Fellows: Bryan Stevenson, founder of the Equal Justice Initiative, and the late civil rights leader, John Lewis. The event will feature a conversation between Mr. Stevenson and NPR's Michel Martin, a tribute to Rep. Lewis, and an original poem for the occasion by Alabama's new poet laureate Ashley M. Jones.
