THE EXPLORERS CLUB at The Cloverdale Playhouse

Come and experience Montgomery's community theater, the Cloverdale Playhouse! The Explorers Club, the second show of the 2024 Cloverdale Playhouse Season, opens on Thursday, May 2 and runs through Sunday, May 12.
London, 1879. The prestigious Explorers Club is in crisis: their acting president wants to admit a woman, and their bartender is terrible. True, this female candidate is brilliant, beautiful, and has discovered a legendary Lost City, but the decision to let in a woman could shake the very foundation of the British Empire, and how do you make such a decision without a decent drink? Grab your safety goggles for some very mad science involving deadly cobras, irate Irishmen and the occasional airship. 

Week 1 performances are on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (May 2, 3, and 4) at 7:00 PM and on Sunday (May 5) at 2:00 PM. Week 2 performances are on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (May 9, 10, and 11) at 7:00 PM and on Sunday (May 12) at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and students.
