Join us on Thursday, July 25 at 5:30pm to welcome poets Tina Mozelle Braziel and James Braziel with their book Glass Cabin. This new work is a pretty amazing volume of storytelling, which chronicles the thirteen years they spent building their home on Hydrangea Ridge out of secondhand materials — found tin, tornado-snapped power poles, and church glass. The poems explore the work it takes to measure cuts for the stairs, to haul water up the mountain, to write. The Braziels will read from and share the experiences behind this new work, as conceptually interesting as the dwelling space it commemorates. Join us!
