Zoo Weekend

Zoo Weekend festivities are: Saturday - Sunday March 1-2, 9am - 5pm. 

This fun-filled weekend at the Montgomery Zoo, enjoyed by generations and loved by all ages, will be filled with great music, two stages of live entertainment, games and prizes for the kids, inflatables and slides, rides, animal presentations and encounters, tons of yummy concessions, and fun, fun, fun! 
 

Admission includes
     -- Entry to the Zoo and Mann Museum 
     -- Entry Waters of the World
     -- Entry to Parakeet Cove (public entry is temporarily closed)
     -- Entry to our Reptile Facility 
     -- Zookeeper talk at 11:30am and 1:30pm daily
     -- Entertainment at Main and Jaguar Stage
     -- Visit with Police and see Police vehicles at MPD tent
     -- Visit with Fire / First Responders, see Fire Pumper Truck and visit Smoke House at MFD tents

 Additional fun, attractions, and rides
     -- Game tickets $5 per sheet of 10 tickets
     -- Train ride: $3 per person 
     -- Giraffe Encounter: $3 per person
     -- Sky lift ride: $5 per person
     -- Parakeet sticks: $2 per stick
     -- Various games: 2 tickets per game
     -- Various slides and inflatables: tickets vary
     -- Toddler play area: FREE for toddlers only
     -- Concessions: four concession tents, selections and prices vary

Zoo Weekend Admissions
     -- Adults: $19
     -- Children (ages 3-12 years old): $15 
     -- Toddlers (2 years old and younger): FREE
     -- Montgomery Zoo members: FREE
             -- Member guest passes cannot be used for admission during Zoo Weekend.
     -- IMPORTANT NOTE: No admission discounts during Zoo Weekend. This is a fundraising event for the Montgomery Zoo.

Volunteer at Zoo Weekend, March 1-2

This is a weekend, fundraising event at the Zoo where we literally need hundreds of volunteers and community members to make this event a huge success.  Volunteers help operate games, inflatables, rides, sell tickets, greeters, and aid in maintaining the cleanliness of the Zoo during the event.  

Zoo Weekend dates are:
     -- Saturday, March 1
     -- Sunday, March 2
     
Zoo Weekend shifts (available Saturday and Sunday) 
Volunteers may serve multiple shifts or one, please register for each shift you plan on serving
    -- Event morning shift: 8:30am – 1:30pm (5 hours)
    -- Event afternoon shift: 1pm – 5:30pm (4.5 hours)
    -- Event entire day: 8:30am - 5:30pm (9 hours)
             -- volunteers are asked to serve the entire shift, shifts may not be divided
             -- Snacks and drinks will be provided. If you have special dietary needs, please make sure to bring your food / drink for your own safety and well-being.

REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER AT ZOO WEEKEND TODAY!
IMPORTANT! All Zoo Weekend volunteers must register prior to arriving at the Zoo. All volunteers must complete and submit a ZOO VOLUNTEER FORM. Please bring the completed volunteer form with you on the day you are planning on serving.  If you are between the ages of 12-19 years old, you must provide parental and/or guardian consent.
