  • Montgomery Zoo Introduces New ZooBrews and Food Festival

    MONTGOMERY ZOO (Montgomery, AL):  The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum is excited to announce the ZooBrews and Food Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 19, from 9am to 5pm. This family-friendly event promises a day of tailgating fun and games, a delicious selection of food trucks, refreshing beer and wine vendors, live music, and more, all in the scenic surroundings of the Montgomery Zoo.
     
    Visitors can look forward to relaxing with family and friends while enjoying live entertainment, playing lawn games, and sampling tasty treats from local food vendors. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for a laid-back afternoon of food, beverages, and music under the fall canopy.
     
    Food Trucks: Fork in the Road, La Raza, Plant Bae, Shalom V Designz, Top Notch BBQ, Woody’s Italian Ice
     
    Beverage Vendors: Allstate Beverage, Trim Tab Brewing, Bama Bud, United Johnson Brothers
     
    Live Entertainment:
    10am - 11am: Erica Rae Burke
    12pm - 1pm: Mackenzie Battaglia
    2pm - 3pm: Reese Graydon
     
    Large Lawn Games: Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Cornhole, Putt Putt Golf, Bowling, Ball Toss
     
    This unique event combines food, fun, and conservation. Admission includes access to all games and entertainment, while food and beverages are available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the zoo’s Animal Conservation and Endowment Fund, supporting wildlife conservation efforts.
     
    Guests 21 and older who wish to consume alcohol must present a valid government-issued ID.

    The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum is a 42-acre zoological facility located minutes from the heart of historic, downtown Montgomery. The Montgomery Zoo features a variety of exotic animals native to Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, and South America. A trademark addition of the Zoo is the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum, housing the one of the Southeast’s largest collections of preserved North American wildlife, artifacts, and fossils. The Montgomery Zoo is a department of the City of Montgomery.
     
    Daily operating hours: 9am - 5pm, with last admission at 4pm.
    Admission: Adults $18, Children (3-12 years) $14, Toddlers (2 years and under) FREE, and Seniors 65 years old and older $16.
