  • Montgomery Regional Airport Named Finalist in 2024 ACI-NA Marketing and Communications Awards

    Montgomery, AL – Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) is honored to announce its win in the Best Airport Newsletter category at the prestigious 2024 Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) Excellence in Airport Marketing, Communications, and Customer Experience Awards held in San Franciso, California. This national recognition underscores MGM’s commitment to building brand awareness, loyalty, and improving community engagement to encourage MGM travelers to feel a part of the airport’s journey.  

    With nearly 400 entries in 25 categories, this year’s awards showcase the top airports across North America and the efforts of their dedicated airport staff to creatively market, promote, and communicate their airport’s customer service capabilities and initiatives to elevate the passenger experience.

    The Best Airport Newsletter award recognizes MGM’s high-quality monthly publication that keeps readers up to date on the latest airport developments, upcoming events, and community initiatives, helping strengthen the connection between MGM and its passengers.

    Brittney Jones-Dabney, Marketing and Communications Manager at MGM Airport, expressed pride in the win, acknowledging the collaborative efforts that brought the newsletter to life. “We’re passionate about making MGM more than just a gateway to the world – it’s a place where travelers can stay informed, feel welcomed, and know they’re part of our community,” said Jones-Dabney. “This award is a significant achievement for MGM, highlighting our team’s dedication to providing relevant and compelling content that resonates with our audience.”

    MGM also received a nomination for its Video Production, placing as a finalist amongst Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

    Since its formation in 1990, the Excellence in Airport Marketing, Communications, and Customer Experience Awards have recognized the quality of work, abundance of talent, and creativity within the airport industry’s marketing, communications, and customer experience fields.
