MONTGOMERY ZOO (Montgomery, AL): The Montgomery Zoo invites families to take part in two upcoming events designed for fun, adventure, and discovery. Whether visiting during the day for Sweethearts Day or exploring after dark with the Mann Museum Flashlight Tour, these events provide exciting ways to experience the zoo and museum.
Sweethearts Day Saturday, February 15, 2025 | 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Last admission at 3:30 p.m.)
Sweethearts Day offers families a special way to celebrate time together. Moms are encouraged to bring their sons, and dads to bring their daughters for a day of wildlife exploration. Guests who purchase a regular daytime adult admission will receive one free child admission.
Admission includes access to the Montgomery Zoo, Mann Wildlife Learning Museum, Waters of the World, and the Reptile Facility. We do not sell advanced tickets for this event. Ride and animal attractions are available for additional purchase.
Mann Museum Flashlight Tour Education Program Friday, February 23, 2025 | 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
The Mann Museum Flashlight Tour provides a unique after-hours experience where guests use flashlights to navigate through the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum. Designed for children ages 5-12 and their parents, this educational event includes a flashlight tour, scavenger hunts, live animal presentations, discovery stations, craft time, and a take-home goody bag.
Guests will arrive at the Mann Museum entrance located at 325 East Vandiver Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36110. Participants may come and go as they like within the three-hour event window. Advance reservations are required by Friday, February 21, at 12 p.m. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum is a 42-acre zoological facility located minutes from the heart of historic, downtown Montgomery. The Montgomery Zoo features a variety of exotic animals native to Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, and South America. A trademark addition of the Zoo is the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum, housing the one of the Southeast’s largest collections of preserved North American wildlife, artifacts, and fossils.
