“We are thrilled to host our inaugural Pints and Plans event! This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce Main Street Montgomery to the community, meet the business owners who make up the district, and share the board’s plans to breathe new life into our historic downtown,” says LaConya Murray, Vice President of Main Street Montgomery. “Part of our responsibility is to consistently update and inform the public of our progress. That’s what we want this meeting to
achieve year after year – an open and effective line of communication for Main Street Montgomery to build relationships and partnerships with the Downtown community,” says James Little, interim Director, Main Street Montgomery. "Main Street is an important partner as we catalyze downtown and restore the heartbeat of our city. The City values its collaboration with Main Street and recognizes it as a key driver in activating our businesses, culture, and the overall restoration of downtown," says Frank Robinson, Director of Economic Development.
A program will begin at 5:30pm and guests will be introduced to the new Main Street Montgomery’s leadership and committee members. A presentation highlighting goals and objectives for the current year, committee announcements, and a call to action on how to get involved or volunteer with Main Street Montgomery will follow. The Main Street board aims to establish this as an annual event. Tickets can be found online at
