Valley National Bank Welcomes New Central Alabama Market President

Jason Gardner joins Valley National Bank as Senior Vice President, Market President for Central Alabama. With two decades of experience in the banking industry, he possesses a deep understanding of the Greater Montgomery financial landscape and a commitment to adding value to his clients’ businesses.
 
In his new role, Jason will provide executive leadership for Central Alabama operations and offers his clients financial solutions ranging from cash management, working capital and expansion capital. He is enthusiastic about Valley Bank’s 2024 strategic initiatives and plans to focus on growth, community involvement and further leveraging the Valley brand in the Central Alabama market.  
 
He brings a wealth of experience, expertise and community relationships to Valley Bank and is eager to contribute to the bank’s continued success. Previously, Jason was the Commercial Relationship Manager at SmartBank, where he focused on building long-term client relationships with a focus on the following industries: accounting, automotive, wholesale and retail distribution, insurance, healthcare, law, manufacturing, non-profit and hospitality.
 
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jason is deeply involved in various community services and activities in the Greater Montgomery area. His commitment to organizations such as the Kiwanis Club, Montgomery Area Council on Aging and Montgomery YMCA Boys Work Committee demonstrates his passion for serving the community, aligning with Valley Bank’s values.
 
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business Administration/Finance from The University of Alabama.
