Montgomery, AL – Trenholm State Community College is thrilled to announce its 2024 Spring Commencement on Thursday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will occur at the Multiplex at Crampton Bowl, 220 Hall St, Montgomery, AL 36104.
At the commencement ceremony, Trenholm State will honor the achievements of over 200 graduates who will receive certificates and/or associate degrees across various divisions, including Health Sciences, Academic/Transfer, and Career & Technical Education.
Among the graduating class are 52 students receiving their non-traditional high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and 45 dual-enrollment students from Montgomery Public Schools, Macon County Schools, Bullock County Schools, Lowndes County Public Schools, Autauga County Schools, and Ezekiel Academy. These students will earn college credentials in the areas of medical assisting, graphic design, welding, automotive services, child and human development, office administration, and culinary arts.
President Kemba Chambers stated, “The commencement ceremony is a testament to the College’s commitment to academic excellence and our dedication to the success of our students. We are proud of all the hard work that these graduates have done to achieve their goals.”
The commencement ceremony will feature two student speakers this year. Mr. Iverson White, a student majoring in Automotive Technology, and Mr. Thaddaus Sneed, Jr., a spring 2024 graduate who majored in Computer Information Systems Support, have been chosen for this honor. These selected students will offer firsthand insight into their Trenholm State experiences, demonstrating how the educational opportunities provided by Trenholm can pave the way for remarkable success.
